I have waited 8 YEARS to make this review. I brought my 2003 Suburban in for a total engine rebuild. Still going strong, no problems, 110,000 miles later. I couldn't have asked for more.

I had my motor rebuilt in my 2002 ford ranger and the motor runs good now but they took obvious shortcuts. First they returned it to me with no freon so my A/C didn't work claiming that it came in like that. Then I found that the positive cable for my alternator was loose and when I went to tighten it the stud broke off meaning they cross threaded it. And I had to take it back again because it was leaking oil. They said it was fixed but it is still leaking. Definitely would not recommend. Update 30k Miles later. I now have a leaking head gasket to the point where it is constantly misfiring and the motor was even hydro locked from coolant.

Ive had a few different engine's rebuilt here and have never had an issue with the product that Santiagos has done. Ive always received that family feeling from Joe and he always gives a very good price to his clients. Thanks for the years of great work!

Been going there for years. They were good, did work at a fair price. Last time though they; didn't get bolts I asked them get out of the block/heads, lost parts, installed cam bearings wrong, charged me for extra labor I repeatedly told them I didn't want. Sadly won't be going back

Santiago's in Oxnard is absolutely fantastic! I have a 91 Isuzu Trooper that had a major coolant leak when I bought it and I needed to have the engine rebuilt. Jose was extremely helpful and explained exactly what the process was going to be. Throughout the rebuild he was extremely communicative in letting me know where they were at with the rebuild. When time came for me to pick up the Trooper he even offered to have someone pick me up from SB to head back down with them to Oxnard. When I first started the engine she purred nice and quiet, very different from when I dropped it off! Initially there was an issue with a part that Jose honestly thought did not need to be replaced. I appreciated the fact that they were trying to save me money in the long run. Despite the issue they were very helpful and took care of the problem. Now my Trooper runs like a champ and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend anyone who needs a rebuild to head down to Santiago's! They do quality work at an affordable price. Thank You Santiago and Jose!
